Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that websites save on your device to make some features work or to remember your preferences. Some are essential; others (third-party cookies) are set by external services used on the site. The same rules apply to the browser's own storage (localStorage), which we use instead of cookies for our technical choices.
What we use
| Name | Type | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent-v2 | Technical (saved in the browser's storage, not a real cookie) | Remembers which optional services you accepted, so we do not ask you every time. It stays until you change your mind or clear your browser data |
| sg-lang | Technical (browser storage) | Remembers the language you choose from the menu, so the site always opens in that language. If you choose nothing and your browser is set to another language, the site shows you the translated version; sg-entry (session-only storage) is used for this step and is deleted straight away |
| _ga, _ga_HPZBSQH5XH (Google Analytics) |
Statistics, third party (Google Ireland Limited), only with your consent | Measure in aggregate form how many people visit the site, from which country and which pages they read. Google sets them to last up to 2 years; some browsers, such as Chrome, delete them earlier, after about 13 months. We do not use them for advertising: advertising consent always stays denied. Data may be transferred to the United States, where Google takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. |
| Google Maps | Third party (Google Ireland Limited), only with your consent | Shows the map with our location: it loads only if you accept «Map» in the banner, or if you press «Show the map» |
We use no advertising, profiling or remarketing cookies.
Anonymous statistics, without cookies
To know how many visits the site gets we also use a simple counter hosted on our server (Aruba, in Italy). It uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses or other data that could identify you: it keeps only daily totals (pages viewed, referring site, browser language, time zone, type of device, clicks on the buttons to contact us). As it collects no personal data, it does not need your consent.
If you click the links to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or WhatsApp on the site, you leave our site and enter third-party platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok), which may set their own cookies under their own rules, regardless of the choice you made here.
How to manage your preferences
You can change your mind at any time with the button below, or with «Cookie preferences» at the bottom of every page: it reopens the banner with your current choices. If you withdraw your consent to Google Analytics, its cookies are deleted from your browser.
You can also delete cookies and site data from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge: usually under «Privacy» or «Cookies and site data»). The banner will then ask for your choice again on your next visit.
More information
To learn how we handle the data sent through the site's forms, read our Privacy Policy. If the English and Italian versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
